Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild - A pre-wedding shoot within the French Riviera's most romantic settingSaint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a morning stolen from time, amidst the gardens of a legendary villa

There are places that seem destined for love.

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is one such place.

Perched on the narrow promontory of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a cape often called the most beautiful in the world, it overlooks both the bay of Villefranche and the bay of Beaulieu with the serene sovereignty of those who know their own worth.

Its nine gardens, each more enchanting than the last, unfurl their symphonies of colours, fragrances, and perspectives within a Mediterranean light unlike any other.

It was here they came, weeks before their wedding, for something distinct.

Not yet the ceremony. Not yet the vows. Just them, bathed in the morning light, amidst the villa's gardens, before everything commences.

A pre-wedding shoot transcends a mere photo session. It is a moment of grace stolen from time, a tranquil pause before the grand day, an opportunity to perceive one another anew, to recall why you chose each other. In a setting like Villa Ephrussi, amidst climbing roses, whispering fountains, and the perpetual backdrop of the Mediterranean, these moments acquire a distinct quality.

They become editorial, cinematic, profoundly intimate.

Our artistic direction was simple: to allow the place to speak, and to let them simply be.

Villa Ephrussi requires no embellishment. It merely asks to be respected, inhabited, traversed with the measured pace of those who truly observe.

That morning, the French Riviera belonged to them.
