We collect only data strictly necessary for the purposes described below. No sensitive data within the meaning of article 9 GDPR is collected via the site.
- Contact form: first name, last name, email address, phone number, message, event date, type of service envisaged.
- Newsletter subscription: email address and, where applicable, first name.
- Browsing data: IP address (anonymised), browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, dates and times of connection — only if you have consented via the cookie banner.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your requests for information and quotes — legal basis: pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Customer relationship management and performance of services — legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Sending the newsletter — legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Audience measurement and site improvement — legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time via 'Manage my cookies' in the footer.
- Compliance with our legal obligations (accounting, tax) — legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Retention periods
- Data from the contact form: 3 years from the last contact if no contractual relationship is established.
- Customer data (contractual relationship): 10 years from the end of the service (accounting and tax obligations).
- Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn, and at most 3 years after the last active contact.
- Consent cookie: 13 months (maximum duration recommended by the CNIL).
- Google Analytics 4 cookies: 14 months maximum.
Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold to third parties. It is accessible to Sandrine Arnould and authorised staff of Luxury Events Agency strictly within the scope of their duties. We use the following processors, who provide sufficient guarantees with regard to the GDPR:
- Google Ireland Limited (Firebase Hosting, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) — site hosting and content storage. Data hosted in the European Union (europe-west region).
- SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) — sending transactional emails (contact form). Processor established in the United States, framed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Octopush — newsletter management (where applicable). French company, data hosted in France.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) — anonymised audience measurement, only after your explicit consent.
- Creatix (Belgium, EU) — technical maintenance of the site, access strictly limited to administrative operations.
Transfers outside the European Union
Data is primarily hosted within the European Union. Where transfers to third countries are necessary (in particular to the United States via SendGrid or Google servers), they are strictly framed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (decision 2021/914) and, where applicable, by recognised certification mechanisms (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data: end-to-end TLS encryption, strong authentication of administrator accounts, restrictive Firestore access rules, logging of sensitive operations and regular backups.
Your rights
In accordance with articles 15 to 22 GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access to your data and to obtain a copy.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten').
- Right to restriction of processing.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to object to processing, including direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
- Right to set guidelines on the fate of your data after your death.
